Healthier Together Recipes for TwoNourish Your Body Nourish Your Relationships Liz Moody 9780525573272 Books Reviews

  • Goodbye cookbooks that are geared towards feeding a family of four on meat and potatoes. Healthier Together is my new go-to staple for me and my husband. The recipes are super simple to follow, I'm happy it includes easy and fun things like enchiladas (all dairy-free!), and no more leftovers for the whole week. (Don't get me wrong, I love leftovers, but Healthier Together finally gets the portions right for two.) Buy this book and get cooking alongside your partner, your friend, your mom -- whoever.
  • I haven't tried all the recipes in this book yet (just got it a few days ago), but I LOVE what I have made so far. I also really enjoy the author's writing and her whole vibe. I've never felt inspired by a cook book before, but her relationship with food and stories of cooking with her husband are very compelling. Last night, I made the 10-minute poke bowl - it is amazing, and I can't wait to make it for a dinner party. The cheesy turmeric rosemary popcorn is one of my favorite recipes of all time. Super easy, feels fancy, and fulfills that after-dinner snack craving without lots of calories.
  • I've always been a fan of Liz's recipes (her lentil stew is one of my weeknight staples), and I couldn't have been more excited to dive into Healthier Together. First off, it's so pretty to look at, so it feels like such a wonderful little gift to myself. Second, the recipes in the book are perfect for meals for me and my husband. We're relatively health conscious, but don't like to sacrifice flavor—and Liz is seriously a wizard at finding harmony between those two goals. Cannot recommend this cookbook enough! Pro tip Don't sleep on her healthy fudge brownies.
  • what's so brilliant about this book is that it acknowledges that having an accountability buddy makes being healthier so much easier. Once you've found yours, Healthier Together will give you all the tools and delicious food you need to start cooking your way towards a longer, happier life. Liz's recipes are simple, yet creative. I can't decide what to make first!
  • I made the "Way More Veggies Bolognese." The recipe was simple and SO delicious. Chopping the veggies was the most difficult part -- my knife skills are awful. I also made "The Best Healthy Chocolate Chip Cookie" and I still can't believe they're gluten free. They taste amazing! I'm going to slowly make my way through this cook book. It's definitely my go-to right now.
  • This cookbook is tons of fun to flip through, and Liz does a great job at making healthy food taste delicious. It takes the guilt out of a lot of my guilty pleasures (healthy chocolate cookies, anyone?) and is just a joy to cook with. I also appreciate that pretty much every ingredient in here is easy to find in a local grocery store!! Would recommend it to anyone looking for some inspiration in the kitchen.
  • I've been anxiously awaiting my copy of Healthier Together, as I've been following the Sprouted Routes blog for awhile and it was even better than I hope for. I read it cover to cover last night and the recipes are amazing. There are also absolutely gorgeous pictures and I love that it's her cooking with her friends and family. It's a great concept. I already made the Caribbean fish and chips for my family and they loved it!
  • This cookbook is amazing! My husband and I eat very differently, and (miracle of miracles) this cookbook has recipes we both love. Every home needs this cookbook.
