- Examples, Problems, and Material are incorrect.
I obtained this book to help break down the more complex questions within the AFOQT and have already found over 10 mistakes within the Arithmetic Reasoning section alone. The examples do not come out to the appropriate answer, the author switched numbers creating an answer that doesn't correlate with the original question. May answers are incorrect within the pages on other sections as well.
If someone knows how to reach out to the editors of this book, they need to be aware that they need to reconstruct this edition.
If you purchase, just be aware that not every aspect of this study guide is Accurate. You may want to go to a previous edition to obtain more concise study prep. - I bought an online version of this book and they’re 100% the same. Looks like there were answers that didn’t match up and looks like they had too many typos in the math section so far. It’ll help get your brain going again but I was so confused when they had an equation to simplify and then they would go on to saying the original equation was similar but one number would be different. For example 3(2+x)+4(5x+3). Then go on to simplify I started with 3(2+x) which would be 6+3x then once you simplify that you SHOULD simplify the 4(5x+3) but they put 4(4x+3). So just be careful with this book it’s a good refresher.
